O Campo foi realmente Pequeno (e quente) para tanto culto e devoção. Já nos consideramos "amigos", como a própria banda nos chamou e a partir daí não é difícil dar concertos memoráveis. Já longe dos primeiros concertos intimistas e emotivos, os The National já são uma grande banda, com muitas canções que queremos ouvir, cujos os êxitos já não são suficientes, porque já os conhecemos bem e, por isso, queremos sempre mais.
As expectativas são sempre altas e a banda responde naturalmente com a segurança de quem sabe fazer bem e não desilude. High Violet e Boxer foram os mais presentes na noite de ontem, o que não surpreende. A dada altura, já os ânimos estavam ao rubro, Matt decide descer à plateia e cantar com os fãs para mostrar a descomplexidade da banda que parece que está sempre perto. 21 canções fizeram o alinhamento do concerto e parece que há sempre uma frase em cada canção que descreve o que os são os The National e o que foi o concerto ontem. E assim assisti ao meu quinto concerto destes senhores.
